Then it has to work here — patchy power, patchy data, trust that’s earned slowly. We deploy with Africa’s reality in mind, not ideal conditions.

where the name comes from
Look at almost anything electronic from directly above — a phone, a TV, a laptop, a bank note — and you get a rectangle. It’s the quiet shape underneath modern life. That’s where our name comes from: we build the foundational layer other things stand on.
